A master’s degree is a postgraduate academic degree. One must already have an undergraduate degree to apply for a master’s program. Most master’s degree program would require students to complete a master’s thesis or research paper.
For higher education, a master is a great option. Programs can last about two years with a requirement somewhere between 12 and 18 courses at the graduate level. Field of study options may vary widely, allowing students to tailor their education to their needs.
Switzerland (German: Schweiz, French: Suisse, Italian: Svizzera, Romansch: Svizra. Switzerland has some of the world renown universites like ETH in Zurich, EPFL in Lausanne, IHEID in Geneva, University of Lausanne or the University of St. Gallen. Keep in mind, it’s much better to speak the local language, so if you can’t speak either French, German or Italian, better go for a language course first.
