The reopening date for continuing students has been adjusted by the University of Education, Winneba.
The University previously planned for the reopening date for newly admitted and continuing students to be on January 7 and 14, respectively, 2023.
In another story, the University has increased  part of it’s fees by only 15% as required by approval committee. Based on unconfirmed fees circulating on social media purporting to be the fees for continuing students, the University has excluded SRC dues before increasing the fees by the required percentage. If the fees circulating is true then the institution will charge over 15% increment if students pay SRC dues separately. Formally, students pay both SRC dues and all other approved excluding departmental dues together. If the requirement is to charge 15% increment of the previous fees then the amount stated includes SRC dues.
If any public university is found to go against what is expected of them, students from all of the public universities will undoubtedly express their opinions in a lawful manner.
